Job summary

Rogers Electric offers a ten-week Full Circuit Project Engineering Internship designed for students ready to advance beyond shadowing. You’ll be embedded with a local construction team, mentored by professionals, and participate in a full-lifecycle project simulation called Project Current.

Interns contribute to active projects, support documentation, scheduling, procurement and closeout activities, and gain exposure across Preconstruction, Safety, Finance, HR, and more.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Entering the internship as a rising senior or graduating senior.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Construction or related field.
• Interested in pursuing a career in Project Engineering or Electrical construction.
• Able to participate in the full ten-week internship program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support active electrical construction project with Project Managers and field leaders.
• Help maintain project documentation: submittals, RFIs, drawings, meeting notes.
• Assist with scheduling, procurement, change-orders, closeout activities.
• Participate in project meetings and jobsite visits.
• Learn how teams monitor labor, cost, schedule, safety and quality.
• Gain exposure to Preconstruction, Safety, Finance, HR and other teams.
• Use construction-management software and industry technology.
• Complete weekly deliverables for a full-lifecycle project simulation.
• Present project work and recommendations to Rogers leaders.
• Receive ongoing mentorship and professional development throughout the program.
