Job summary

Hatzel & Buehler is seeking a Project Engineering Intern in New York to support Project Managers and Project Engineers in reviewing design and bidding documents, coordinating contractors, and tracking construction progress.

You will gain hands-on exposure to engineering, construction management, project planning, and field operations, with duties spanning documentation, meetings, scheduling, site visits, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, or related Engineering.
• Strong interest in project engineering and infrastructure development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and PEs with organizing project documentation and tracking activities.
• Support review of design drawings, specifications, and bidding documents.
• Assist in compiling bid information and organizing procurement docs.
• Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Help monitor schedules and construction progress.
• Support site visits and field observations.
