Job summary

This hands-on role offers exposure to engineering, construction management, project planning, and field operations to help deliver capital projects. Summer 2027 position with stipend paid hourly from $15.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, or related Engineering.
• Interest in project engineering, construction management, and infrastructure development.
• Familiarity with engineering software and MS Office suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers with organizing project documentation, tracking activities, and day-to-day administration.
• Support review of design drawings, specifications, and bidding documents to learn project requirements.
• Assist in compiling bid information and organizing procurement documentation.
• Participate in project meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items and deliverables.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and construction progress.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction activities and document progress.
• Prepare project status reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Gain exposure to building codes, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Track project costs and support QA activities under senior staff guidance.
• Provide general engineering and administrative support.
