Job summary

RTX is recruiting for a hybrid internship/co-op position in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role supports coordination of administrative and project-related activities, with mentorship from project management and engineering teams.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering and hold a high school diploma. English proficiency is required for customer and team communications. This is a blended onsite/remote environment with regular collaboration.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What you will do:

• Responsible for coordination and overseeing of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines while also liaising between project management and planning and line management.
• Helps coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
• Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participates in engineering activities that further success of overall project objectives.
• Participates in the coordination, preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Qualifications you must have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
