Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate for a Co-Op internship at the Aguadilla, PR location. The role requires the student to reside in Puerto Rico at the start date, with a hybrid schedule (on-site 3 days, remote 2 days) and relocation not offered.

You'll coordinate project administration, support budgeting and proposals, and work with engineering teams to advance program objectives. Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and be a U.S. citizen.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What you will do:

• Responsible for coordination and overseeing of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines while also liaising between project management and planning and line management.
• Helps coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
• Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participates in engineering activities that further success of overall project objectives.
• Participates in the coordination, preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
