Job summary

RTX invites you to join a hybrid Co-Op at the Aguadilla, PR location. You will engage in analytical modeling, support system design integration, and participate in meetings and training as part of a structured aerospace engineering program.

The role requires enrollment in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer or Software Engineering, U.S. citizenship, and a minimum GPA of 3.0. The program runs January through June with a blended onsite/remote schedule.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What you will do:

• Candidates should have successfully demonstrated analytical and mathematical modeling skills to solve problems and the ability to work at an implementation level.
• Support system design integration and requirement management activities.
• Attend and participate in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training.
• Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
• Support project management activities
• Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Basic Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer or Software Engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications:

• A passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges.
• Eager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share your knowledge with others.
• Basic understanding of gas turbine engines.
• Knowledge in Python or other coding languages.
