Job summary

The City of Fort Worth seeks a Professional Engineer to lead capital water/wastewater projects within the Water Capital Delivery. This role requires a registered PE in Texas and strong project management, design, and contract administration experience to support critical infrastructure.

Qualified candidates have a Texas PE, a bachelor's in civil engineering, and a track record of delivering large-scale water projects in a fast-paced municipal setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Four (4) years of civil engineering experience as a registered PE, including two (2) years in project management with design and contract admin for water/wastewater projects.
• PE in Texas required; out-of-state license acceptable if Texas registration obtainable within six months.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital water improvement projects as project manager.
• Interpret design requirements per Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
• Provide technical leadership to engineering staff in water/wastewater projects.
• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day section activities; liaise with Field Operations.
