Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation in Charleston, SC seeks an experienced civil engineer to plan, coordinate, and manage on-site construction activities daily. You will communicate with subcontractors, prepare monthly pay estimates, and track budgets and change orders for project leadership.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of heavy civil engineering experience, and proven abilities in planning, cost control, procurement, and team leadership to deliver complex infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and owners.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Description

• Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering daily activities and schedules and communicates with subcontractors.
• Prepares monthly Owner pay estimates, reviews subcontractor pay requests after updating the Project CPM schedule.
• Prepares and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for Project Director's/Manager's review and approval.
• Prepares and leads weekly staff and regular review meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
