• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to support project schedules and deliverables.
• Help identify and troubleshoot project issues to maintain quality, accuracy, and progress.
• Track details, follow up on open items, and contribute to organized project execution.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineer-Tenant Improvement for a direct hire opportunity supporting mechanical and plumbing system projects in a commercial construction environment. Key Responsibilities

• Support project managers throughout the lifecycle of mechanical, plumbing, and tenant improvement projects.
• Assist with design coordination, submittals, RFIs, project documentation, and construction administration tasks.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents with a focus on plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to support project schedules and deliverables.
• Help identify and troubleshoot project issues to maintain quality, accuracy, and progress.
• Track details, follow up on open items, and contribute to organized project execution.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
• Job type: Direct hire.
• Schedule: Full-time.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Support mechanical, plumbing, and tenant improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Assist with submittals, documentation, drawing reviews, and project coordination.
• Work with project managers, contractors, clients, and internal teams to keep projects on track.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience, internship experience, or relevant project exposure.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to plumbing systems through coursework, internship experience, or early professional experience.
• Ability to read and review drawings, specifications, and technical project documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow into larger project responsibilities over time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting commercial construction, tenant improvement, mechanical, or plumbing projects.
• Familiarity with submittal processes, RFIs, project documentation, and construction coordination.
• Interest in growing into Project Manager-level responsibilities.
