Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Project Engineer - Structures to join the team delivering the $4.6B SR400 Express Lanes Project in the Atlanta metro area. You will work on complex structural works including bridges, retaining walls, foundations, and precast elements, collaborating with top construction professionals.

Relocation assistance available. Join a JV with Flatiron Dragados and help ensure safe, on-schedule delivery with high-quality standards on a landmark transportation program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, roadway, bridge, or infrastructure construction.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
• GDOT project experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction of bridges, retaining walls, foundations, and other roadway structures.
• Coordinate daily activities with field teams, subcontractors, survey crews, and suppliers.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to support successful field execution.
• Assist with planning, sequencing, inspections, quantity tracking, and production monitoring.
• Help ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
