Job summary

Schuff Steel is seeking a Project Engineer to support project management and field coordination for structural steel projects. You will assist with submittals, RFIs, and document control while ensuring alignment with contract documents and Schuff’s procedures.

You will coordinate with project teams, forecast schedule impacts, and help manage turnover packages and closeout documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 3–5 years related experience in project management or engineering in structural steel.
• Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Support project management and field coordination to meet contract requirements.
• Log, review, track, expedite submittals and RFIs with related teams.
• Maintain project documents and prepare weekly reports.
