Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Associates degree or training in engineering/drafting preferred; may substitute experience.
• At least five years related experience coordinating structural steel projects; detailing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review design drawings for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with customers and design team.
• Coordinate project sequencing and shop/detailing setup, including advance bills.
• Provide technical guidance to steel detailers for shop drawings per project specs.
• Monitor submittals, approvals, and shop fabrication releases; flag delays.
• Manage RFI process with engineers, architects, and GC; maintain logs.
