Job summary

Schuff Steel is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction activities from initiation to completion. You will work with clients to ensure deliverables stay within scope and budget while collaborating with departments to ensure smooth execution.

In this role, you will manage scheduling, change orders, and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and craftspeople to maintain project quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s Degree in CM, Engineering or Business is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings; knowledge of 3D modeling is a plus.
• Five years of related experience as a Project/Construction Manager in structural steel.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities of the construction of assigned projects from start to finish.
• Ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with clients and other departments to ensure deliverables meet scope and budget.
• Interface with departments and subcontractors to schedule work and materials.
• Prepare reports for management and verify construction drawings for accuracy.
