Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Project Engineer in Ohio to coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within the program portfolio.

You will act as the focal interface between program managers, team leads, and engineering SMEs, suppliers and partners, driving improvements, managing risk, and developing project plans while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with experience in Engineering, or a related STEM field or equivalent experience/combined with education with 3 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in Project Planning
  • Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams
  • Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SECRET security clearance
  • Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.

You will coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with experience in Engineering, or a related STEM field or equivalent experience/combined with education with 3 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in Project Planning
  • Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams
  • Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Project Management, Project Engineering, and/or Systems Engineering
  • Experience with composites and metallic manufacturing / assembly
  • Knowledge of / Experience with engineering design and /or tools such as Catia v5 (or other equivalent CAD systems with ability to learn), Teamcenter/JIRA or other tracking tools
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
