Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager (Project Engineer Sr) in Courtland, AL to lead readiness, integration and testing activities, and drive TAKT-based production implementation. • Support and assist with leading execution of TAKT time-based production implementation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Industrial Engineering, MRP, and other support functions to ensure holistic execution to meet current and future demand.
• Drive performance excellence using PMT teams; align floor and staff PMTs to the Program and Space enterprise; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Building Manager and Site Deputy with planning, staffing, and resource management.
• Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects; review design for compliance; manage scheduling and technical development.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure readiness and execution of integration and testing activities that meets internal operating and contractual schedules

Support and assist with leading execution of TAKT time-based production implementation.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Industrial Engineering, Material Resource Planning (MRP), and other Support Functions, as required, to ensure holistic execution of organization to meet current and future demand of customers

Support accelerating performance excellence utilizing PMT Teams across the organization, ensuring floor and staff PMTs are aligned to the Program and Space enterprise while identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase repeatability, efficiency, and throughput

Assist Building Manager and Site Deputy with Planning, staffing and resource management

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Managment Software and Collaborative platforms (Sharepoint, JIRA, etc)
• Ability to articulate complex technical and programatic issues to peers, managment and customers
• Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

• Facilitate schedule reviews and status meetings with operations, program and customer
• Engages early with operations leadership team on return to green plans, if required.
• Experience in financial estimating and planning cost account milestones

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
