Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our general application pool for future opportunities across California locations including Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

This role supports project teams with technical evaluation, coordination, documentation, and schedule control. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field, plus related project coordination or internship experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, project management or equivalent technical area.
• 1+ years of experience in construction, engineering or architectural related position or internships preferred.
• Alternative: 1+ years in project coordination and support on construction/engineering projects.
• Non-degree holders must have 4+ years of related construction/engineering/architectural experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and ensure contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications align with project requirements.
• Coordinate data, approvals, and communications among owner, architects, engineers, contractors, and related entities.
• Maintain project controls systems and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and document statuses.
• Assess safety, performance, and staffing requirements with project leadership.
• Analyze change orders and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and handover to owners.
• Provide high-quality services and meet project objectives.
