Job summary

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is seeking qualified Project Engineer candidates for a general application across its CA offices, including Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

This role provides technical project support, controls documentation, and coordination across owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. Able to participate in meetings, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, PM or related technical field
• 1+ years of experience in construction, engineering or architectural position; or 1+ years in project coordination with business degree
• Knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and project-related systems (Prolog, Sure Track, Primavera)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and ensure relation and compliance to project requirements.
• Obtain and maintain data, information, and approvals between owner, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project entities.
• Maintain document and project controls systems and procedures.
• Participate in project meetings and track relevant information and statuses.
• Evaluate contractual requirements on safety, performance, staff, and equipment for leadership.
• Analyze and evaluate change orders and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support project closeout, punch list resolution, warranties, as-builts, handover to owner.
• Provide services to ensure quality of Vanir's services.
