Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking an engineer to develop, direct and coordinate projects for North America, involving mechanical and electrical components. You will lead safety initiatives, assess customer needs, and assemble engineering packages while managing purchasing and project costs through concept to start-up.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and on-call support during go-lives, with travel up to 10% and on-site work at our Wisconsin facilities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 1–6 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing terms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and comply with safety rules.
• Identify customer needs and define project scope.
• Prepare engineering package and documentation.
• Handle purchasing: vendors, PO issuance, delivery expediting.
• Manage project costs and scheduling.
• Determine materials and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate installation, start-up and training.
• Provide engineering support to resolve plant issues.
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects as needed.
