Job summary

Michael Page seeks a motivated Project Engineer to support the delivery of commercial construction projects across Ohio. This role offers hands-on management experience alongside seasoned Project Managers and a clear path for career growth within a leading national contractor.

The successful candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field and 1+ years of experience, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in commercial construction, internships, co-ops, or project support roles.
• Experience with scheduling, cost controls, estimating, subcontractor coordination, or managing portions of a project scope is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
• Assist with subcontractor management, procurement, and project buyout activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Track project schedules and assist with project reporting and cost control efforts.
• Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Conduct project site visits and assist with field coordination activities.
• Help identify and resolve project issues while maintaining budget and schedule objectives.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assist with project closeout, punch list management, and turnover documentation.
