Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to join their engineering team in Ohio. This role supports both product development initiatives and day-to-day manufacturing operations, requiring a strong mechanical engineering background and the ability to work across design, production, and customer-facing projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, have 4+ years in manufacturing or product-focused environments, and be proficient with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or product-focused environments.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience supporting machining, fabrication, fittings, or fluid systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
• FEA experience (ANSYS) preferred but not required.
• Experience collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot challenges.
• Familiarity with stainless steel products and industrial components.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing or product-focused environment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience supporting machining, fabrication, fittings, fluid systems, or industrial components.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience, including ANSYS, is preferred but not required. Background with industrial manufacturers, component suppliers, or organizations that produce mechanical assemblies and engineered products.
• Experience working closely with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
• Familiarity with stainless steel products, industrial fittings, pressure systems, or similar engineered solutions.
