Job summary

Insight Global in Willoughby, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop and improve mechanical products from concept through production. You will partner with manufacturing teams to resolve production and quality challenges and support customer-driven engineering requests.

You will create and maintain engineering drawings and specifications, collaborate with suppliers and customers, analyze design performance, and participate in prototype testing to verify solutions and drive reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or product-focused environments.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience supporting machining, fabrication, fittings, fluid systems, or industrial components.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
• FEA experience, including ANSYS, preferred but not required.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.

4+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing or product-focused environment.

Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

Experience supporting machining, fabrication, fittings, fluid systems, or industrial components.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience, including ANSYS, is preferred but not required.

Nice to Have Skills

Background with industrial manufacturers, component suppliers, or organizations that produce mechanical assemblies and engineered products.

Experience working closely with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.

Familiarity with stainless steel products, industrial fittings, pressure systems, or similar engineered solutions.

Compensation

$75,000-$85,000 per year annual salary.
