Job summary

Exyte US, Inc. is seeking a proactive Project Engineer - Mechanical (Dry) - Process to support construction activities on a GMP-compliant pharma project.

You will assist the Construction Manager, coordinate field operations, manage schedules and documentation, and help ensure milestones are met safely and on budget. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 3–5 years of biopharma or life sciences construction experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, preferably in biopharma & life sciences, cleanroom, or high-level containment facilities.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager in overseeing daily construction operations and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation to maintain project timelines.
• Assist in managing documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
• Monitor quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols and participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Track material deliveries and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
• Facilitate communication between field teams, contractors, and project managers.
• Identify and elevate issues that may impact project timelines or quality, and assist in developing solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred:

• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent.
• Experience working on fast-paced, large-scale and complex pharma or life sciences projects.
• Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical facility systems (e.g., HVAC, process piping, electrical distribution).
