Job summary

Exyte US, Inc. is seeking a proactive Project Engineer - Electrical - CUP to support and coordinate construction activities on a complex GMP compliant pharma project.

You will assist the Construction Manager in planning, execution, and oversight of daily operations to meet milestones safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating scheduling, logistics, and resources; managing RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress reports; monitoring QA/QC; enforcing safety;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of construction experience, preferably in biopharma or life sciences.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager in overseeing daily construction operations and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resources to maintain project timelines.
• Assist in managing RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
• Monitor QA/QC processes to ensure design compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Track material deliveries and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely resources.
• Facilitate communication between field teams, contractors, and project managers.
• Identify and elevate issues impacting timelines or quality and help develop solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This role involves assisting the construction management team in planning, execution, and oversight of daily operations to ensure project milestones are met safely, on time, and within budget.

• Monitor quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols and participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Track material deliveries and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
• Facilitate communication between field teams, contractors, and project managers.
• Identify and elevate issues that may impact project timelines or quality, and assist in developing solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, preferably in biopharma & life sciences, cleanroom, or high-level containment facilities.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Preferred:

• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent.
• Experience working on fast-paced, large-scale and complex pharma or life sciences projects.
• Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical facility systems (e.g., HVAC, process piping, electrical distribution).
