Job summary

Malibu Boats, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer I to manage smaller projects and contribute to larger initiatives within Marine Components.

The role combines mechanical design, process engineering, supplier/customer coordination, and business development support to drive product and manufacturing improvements. You will create schedules, develop manufacturing plans, and support GD&T adherence while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure on-time, in-spec execution across prototypes,

Qualifications

  • Education: BSME or related ABET-accredited degree.
  • 1–3 years of engineering experience, or 5+ years equivalent.
  • Strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects for Marine Components including metal parts and towers.
  • Develop schedules and coordinate with suppliers and customers to meet milestones.
  • Create manufacturing plans and BOMs for assigned projects, including tooling and production requirements.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to technical and project challenges to drive innovation.
  • Work with leadership to develop and maintain accurate project timelines.
  • Lead project reviews and communicate status to stakeholders.
