Job summary

Shaw-Lundquist Associates, Inc. (SLA) is seeking a Project Manager with strong organization, communication and client-focused mindset to support pre-construction and construction phases for diverse markets in Nevada and Minnesota.

Responsibilities include leading submittals and RFIs through ProCore, evaluating designs, preparing pre-mobilization meetings, maintaining quality control, managing schedules, submittals, meetings, procurement logs, and coordinating mechanical/electrical coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years of relevant construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the submittal and RFI processes thru ProCore.
• Evaluate project design and engineering documents, ensuring their organization and distribution to necessary parties.
• Prepare Pre-Mobilization Kickoff meetings and review Quality Control Setup.
• Review plans and other technical documents; maintain/update project records.
• Create, manage and track RFIs; prepare RFIs logs.
• Assist the project manager/superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule.
• Accept, review for compliance, and submit submittals from subcontractors to A/E for approval.
• Record and update meeting minutes for site and OAC meetings.
• Assist with conflict resolution between owner, contractor, and subcontractor.
• Manage the procurement log and material needs; coordinate subcontractor meetings.
• Coordinate & Lead Subcontractor Pre-Construction meetings and inspections.
• Manage M&E coordination drawings, shop drawings and commissioning process.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and assist with proposals for the PM.
• Track safety/quality observations thru ProCore.
• Provide general support for the project team.
