Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to pre-plan and manage construction projects using all company resources to maximize customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability.

The role emphasizes leadership across schedules, costs, and subcontractor coordination. The position requires oversight of change orders, RFIs, and logs, with emphasis on accurate estimates and safe, compliant work practices on industrial, institutional and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
• Project financial tracking responsibility and reporting experience.
• Experience in monitoring labor performance to identify productivity and progress.
• Knowledge in generating construction schedules and updating.
• Knowledge in reading plans and specifications for material orders and change orders.
• Ability to order, track and expedite MEP and specialty items.
• Knowledge and experience in managing multi-disciplined projects.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs
• Work with Labor Superintendent to ensure labor plan is being carried out
• Create MEP Schedules and Manloading charts on all projects
• Consistently submit accurate, timely and complete estimates and change order quotations
• Communicate with purchasing and subcontractors to secure schedule, scope, and price
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment
• Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business
• Perform Design Build or Bid Spec Projects
• Estimate various electrical projects whether bid spec, public, private, or design build
• Assist in Electrical Engineering/Engineering Consultation.
• Other duties as assigned
