Job summary

Platinum Global Talent Solutions Ltd. in the United States seeks a Project Engineer for the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), a landmark infrastructure program between New York and New Jersey. You will support design reviews, monitor construction, and coordinate with stakeholders.

The role requires 3–7 years in civil engineering, proficiency with BIM, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and PMIS, and strong communication within multidisciplinary, client-facing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in civil engineering on large infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Roadway engineering skills: geometric design, grading, permitting, utilities, stormwater, drainage, 3D modeling, traffic/accident analysis, staging plans.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations relevant to major capital projects (NJDOT, NJDEP, NEPA, USACE, Section 106, county or municipal).
• Proficiency with BIM, AutoCAD, MicroStation, PMIS, and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design reviews, resolve technical issues, and coordinate design change documentation.
• Provide technical support during construction, review contractor submittals, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, schedule meetings, and assist with project documentation (drawings and specs).
• Provide opinions on constructability and critical path impacts, and perform scenario analyses.
• Support integration and coordination of HTP packages and interface management.
• Assist with programmatic oversight of project controls (schedule, cost, change, risk, document management).
• Update project controls procedures and tools as requested.
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly project reports (safety, quality, environmental, milestones).
• Maintain a lessons learned register and master issues log for the HTP.
• Support PMP, QMP, and required federal plans.
