Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to lead land development design efforts, oversee grading, drainage, stormwater, and utilities, and manage budgets and schedules. You will collaborate with clients and agencies, review plans and permits, and mentor junior staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with a PE license and 4+ years of relevant experience, with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE license required.
• 4+ years of relevant civil/land development experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site design including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utilities.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, reports, calculations, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and agencies to address feedback and obtain approvals.
• Review survey data, research zoning requirements, and conduct site visits.
• Provide construction support and resolve design and field issues.
• Guide and mentor engineers and CAD technicians.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to deliver quality work within project deadlines.
• Support proposal development and communicate project progress to the Project Manager.
