Job summary

Rogers Electric is offering a ten-week Full Circuit Project Engineering Internship designed for engineering students. You will work with a local construction team, learn from a dedicated mentor, and contribute to active electrical construction projects from bid through closeout.

Interns collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers and field leaders, while using construction-management software and gaining exposure to preconstruction, safety, finance and HR teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Rising senior or graduating senior.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Construction or related field.
• Willing to participate in the full ten-week internship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working on office and active jobsite environments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support an active electrical construction project alongside Project Managers and field leaders.
• Maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, drawings, meeting notes and material-tracking logs.
• Assist with project scheduling, procurement, change-order documentation and closeout activities.
• Participate in project meetings and jobsite visits.
• Learn how project teams monitor labor, cost, schedule, safety and quality.
• Gain exposure to Preconstruction, Safety, Finance, HR and other teams involved in project delivery.
• Use industry technology and construction-management software.
• Complete weekly deliverables as part of a collaborative, full-lifecycle project simulation.
• Present project work and recommendations to Rogers leaders.
• Receive ongoing mentorship, feedback and professional development throughout the program.
