Job summary

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) is seeking a skilled Civil/Environmental Engineer with at least 3 years of progressive experience to support planning, design, permitting, and construction of wastewater projects in South Carolina.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, preparing scopes of work, and reviewing design documents to ensure compliance with standards and permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited institution.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible engineering experience in planning, design, and construction coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional engineering work to support planning, design, permitting, and construction of capital and in-house projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, plans, specifications, and bid documents for multiple projects.
• Review technical documents and provide feedback on designs and drawings.
• Manage consultant and contractor work, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct field observations during construction to ensure conformance with plans and permits.
• Assist in project closeout processes and provide documentation for boards and committees.
