Job summary

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) in South Carolina is seeking an Engineer to support wastewater conveyance projects within the Planning and Development Program. You will review development plans, verify flow calculations, and ensure compliance with ReWa and state standards while guiding projects with developers, engineers, and public stakeholders.

The position requires a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or within six months, and at least three

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited institution.
EIT certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible engineering experience in planning, design, and construction coordination.

Responsibilities

Support planning, design, permitting, and construction of capital and in-house projects.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Review technical documents, cost estimates, and design drawings for compliance with standards.
Manage project documentation, milestones, and reporting.
Assist with planning tasking, bids, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
Oversee field observations and ensure conformance with plans and permits.
