The Weitz Company is hiring a Project Engineer II for our Industrial team. This is a traveling role focused on preconstruction, planning, buyout, management and closeout across projects.
You will monitor status and alert the team to potential schedule or budget impacts, reporting to the Project Manager and possibly supervising site personnel. Weitz has built a long-standing tradition of growth and inclusivity since 1855.
We are currently accepting applications for a Project Engineer II to join our Industrial team. This is a traveling position. Power Generation experience preferred.
The Project Engineer I/II is responsible for several functions throughout the duration of assigned projects including preconstruction, planning, buyout, management and closeout. This role actively monitors project status and informs the project team of any issues that may impact the project schedule and/or budget. The Project Engineer I/II typically reports to the Project Manager and may supervise other site personnel.
