Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company, part of the PPL Corporation family, seek an Electrical Engineer I–III at the Trimble County Generating Station. The position supports various plant functions, performing engineering tasks, interacting with multiple departments, and advancing risk-managed improvements within NERC standards.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• Ability to analyze and solve engineering problems from a business perspective.
• Experience coordinating capital and O&M projects, with attention to safety, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities to improve plant equipment availability and reliability.
• Performs engineering assignments related to design, construction, performance, operation, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
• Manages full scope of Capital and O&M projects with safety, budget, and timeline adherence.
• Prepares reports and presents recommendations on reliability, compliance, and engineering activities.
• Directs activities of coops and bargaining employees in installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
