Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Project Engineer II - Mechanics to drive design changes, derivative tool releases, and maintain existing products. You will manage projects, work across Quality, Purchasing, Finance, Service and Marketing, and use CAD and simulation tools to optimize performance.

With a minimum of 4 years experience and a strong mechanical background, you will travel up to 15% internationally and domestically. This on-site role supports a fast-growing, ergonomics-focused engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to travel internationally & domestically ~15% of time.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium engineering projects and provide support on mid-level projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Finance, Service & Support, Marketing and other departments.
• Develop project plans and drive execution to meet cost, schedule and performance targets.
• Monitor project progress and provide monthly status updates to senior management.
• Engage with suppliers to define part and product specifications.
