Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Project Engineer to drive design changes, derivative tool releases and maintenance of existing products. You will lead engineering projects, coordinate with global teams and ensure project plans meet cost, schedule, and performance targets.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 4+ years experience, CAD proficiency (Unigraphics/Pro-E) and travel up to 15%. Join a dynamic team with on-site facilities and a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent; Mechanical preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally to China and domestically several times per year (approx. 15% travel).
• Ability to manage several simultaneous projects.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead small to mid-scale engineering projects with supervision.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Finance, Service & Support, Marketing and other departments.
• Evaluate designs for materials, heat treatment and finishes; consider costs and robustness.
• Develop project plans and drive execution to meet cost, schedule and performance targets.
• Provide weekly status updates to management and project team.
• Visit manufacturing cells/suppliers to troubleshoot and communicate requirements.
• Perform tests per established procedures.
• Interpret data and make design recommendations (CAD/simulation, materials, tolerances, lubrication, dynamics).
