Job summary

Apex Structural Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer II to advance in structural analysis and design while collaborating with project teams. You will develop 3D analysis models, apply ASCE 7 loads, and review results under supervision.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience, a civil/structural engineering degree, and familiarity with Apex’s software. A hybrid work schedule and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Two to four years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification preferred; pursuing PE/SE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of increasingly complex components and systems under guidance.
• Develop gravity and lateral building analysis models using Apex’s software.
• Apply building codes and material standards to analysis and design with growing proficiency.
• Prepare clear structural calculations and documentation communicating assumptions, loads, and results.
• Read and interpret architectural/structural documents to perform tasks.
