Apex Structural Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer III to lead advanced structural analysis, design, and project documentation for complex building systems. You will interpret codes, develop 3D models, and coordinate with architects and MEP teams to ensure constructible, code-compliant solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Typically four+ years of relevant structural engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
• PE and/or SE licensure required, as applicable to jurisdiction.
• Proficiency in analysis and design of structural building systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and other materials.
• Strong understanding of load development, load paths, gravity and lateral systems, and interaction of components.
• Proficiency with ASCE 7 and applicable codes and standards; ability to interpret provisions for complex conditions.

• Independently perform advanced structural analysis and design for complex components and building systems.
• Develop and evaluate 3D gravity and lateral models with appropriate assumptions and loading.
• Review calculations and documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve coordination issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced engineers.
• Participate in Apex Technical Advisory Groups and contribute to engineering standards.
