Job summary

ISEC, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager with project administration, material releases, vendor follow-ups, and invoice coding.

The role includes preparing schedules, submittals, change orders, and field dimensioning while supporting labor and delivery planning. The Project Engineer will coordinate with owners, GCs and subcontractors, ensure quality control per contract documents, and help manage shop drawings, cost projections, and monthly billings.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating project schedules and submittals.
• Ability to manage change orders and project documentation.
• Excellent communication with owners, GCs and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and finalization of project schedules.
• Procure and submit submittal information and manage approvals.
• Assist with subcontract administration, contract documents, and change orders.
• Coordinate communications from owners, GCs, and subcontractors.
• Ensure quality control procedures per contract documents and policies.
• Assist in proper job closeout and keep the PM informed.
• Record information in Project Control/Document Control System with target dates.
• Review job costs with Project Manager.
• Manage shop drawings through specifications and reviews; handle changes.
• Release material timely and coordinate deliveries.
• Visit jobsites and understand the jobsite environment.
• Maintain shortage/breakage log and reorder material as needed.
• Prepare manuals and guarantees per project specs.
• Assist PM with monthly billings, cost projections and weekly logs.
