Job summary

Daifuku seeks a qualified engineer to design and enhance conveyor and automated material handling systems. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, industrial, controls and software teams to meet safety, reliability, throughput and cost targets.

Responsibilities include design review, vendor coordination, project scheduling, and creating AutoCAD/ SolidWorks drawings. Willingness to travel up to 20% and engage in continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Internship or experience in material handling industry.

Responsibilities

• Design/Enhance conveyor systems and material handling systems as part of a project team.
• Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles and customer requirements.
• Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling and problem resolution.
