The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Engineer to be stationed at job sites on a Cedar Rapids, IA or Des Moines, IA project for the Iowa Business Unit. You will support planning, buyout, and closeout, ensuring schedule adherence and budget control.

The role offers exposure to commercial and mission-critical projects and a pathway for career growth. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of project engineering experience, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and proficiency with Procore and Office

Qualificações

• Two or more years of project engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop teams.
• Industry-related college degree; data center experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, review, and post construction documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to respond to RFIs.
• Review submittals for accuracy against plans and specs.
• Monitor schedule impacts and assist with change management.
• Track material/equipment delivery and maintain project logs.
• Assist with subcontract/scopes of work and change orders.
