Job summary
Southland Industries is seeking a project-support professional to assist the team on smaller, less complex projects. You will estimate changes and provide updates to management, manage and track change orders, and help procure equipment, materials, and services while assisting in subcontractor selection.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent and basic ERP, HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and CAD/Microsoft Office skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent education, training and experience.
- Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing design.
- Ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office, such as Excel.
