Job summary

Southland Industries in Houston, TX is seeking a project support engineer to assist the project team on smaller, less complex projects. You will help with change orders, procurement of equipment and services, and coordinating subcontractors.

The role requires an engineering degree and basic ERP/CAD/Microsoft Office skills, with opportunities for growth in a 100% employee-owned company known for its HVAC/plumbing focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Basic ERP skills: inquire, review, print job cost reports.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing design.
• Ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including CAD and Microsoft Office, such as Excel.
