Job summary

Southland Industries, a leading MEP contractor, seeks a project-support professional to assist the team on smaller, less complex projects. You will estimate impacts of changes, manage change orders, and help procure equipment, materials, and services while participating in subcontractor selection.

You will stay current on industry trends and analyze basic questions to keep projects moving smoothly. This role requires a foundational engineering background and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing design; ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office, such as Excel.
