Limbach is seeking a Project Engineer I as part of its Early Career Program in Columbus, OH. You will learn estimating, project management, and financials under the guidance of a Project Manager.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule development, cost tracking, and coordination across trades. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Building Construction or Engineering, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel occasionally to project sites or meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the construction process and related concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand the full scope of a contract.
• Review plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Attend project kickoff and peer review meetings with PM and team.
• Develop detailed project schedules and input for owner/GC schedules.
• Track costs including equipment, materials, labor and subcontracts.
• Assist with shop drawings and coordination with other trades.
• Schedule material purchases and review purchase orders.
