Job summary

Limbach Facility Services LLC is seeking a Project Engineer I as part of the Early Career Program. You will learn the business from estimating through project management, supported under the supervision of the Project Manager.

Role includes reviewing contracts, schedules, costs, and coordination with trades, vendors, and owners. The position emphasizes safety, client relations, and progression toward ownership of project tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask with competing deadlines.
• Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and site visits/inspections.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and understands the complete scope of a given contract.
• Reviews plans, specs, and other contract documents for a project.
• Attends project kickoff and peer review meetings with the Project Manager and team.
• Develops detailed project schedules and inputs owner/GC schedules for expeditious work.
• Tracks equipment, material, labor, subcontract, and other costs.
• Assists with shop drawings and planning coordination with other trades.
• Schedules material purchases and reviews purchase orders to meet specs.
• Develops construction standards for piping, plumbing, or sheet metal works.
• Communicates schedule, manpower loading, and labor costs to stakeholders.
