Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking a Project Engineer-Balance to lead or assist in balancing steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators with strong hands-on involvement. Collaboration with hourly staff will be essential to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic equipment, operating PLC systems, and contributing to assembly and system troubleshooting. Night and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to apply knowledge to hands-on solutions.
• Availability for night and weekend work as required.
• Effective team collaboration skills.

The Project Engineer-Balance Will Lead Or Assist In The Balancing Of Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, And Generators, Focusing On Hands-on Involvement Including

• Collaborate with hourly workforce for task completion with minimal direction
• Execute production plans prioritizing Safety and Quality
• Prepare drawings and process instructions
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems
• Contribute as a team member in mechanical assemblies
• Supervise, operate, and troubleshoot complex systems
• Perform the balancing of power generation equipment

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
