Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking a Project Engineer-Balance to lead or assist in balancing Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, and Generators with hands-on involvement and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic equipment, operating PLC systems, preparing drawings and process instructions, and supervising complex systems within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to apply knowledge to hands-on solutions.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Availability for night and weekend work as required.
• Effective team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Balance Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, and Generators.
• Collaborate with hourly workforce for task completion with minimal direction.
• Execute production plans prioritizing Safety and Quality.
• Prepare drawings and process instructions.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Supervise, operate, and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Perform the balancing of power generation equipment.
