ASIBACC in the Hudson Valley is seeking a Project Engineer to support day-to-day project operations on heavy civil construction projects.
This hands-on role works with the Project Manager and Superintendent to maintain documentation, track quantities, schedule work, manage RFI and submittals, and assist with project accounting and material deliveries, while ensuring accurate reporting and field readiness.
ASIBACC is looking for a Project Engineer to support day-to-day project operations on heavy civil construction work throughout the Hudson Valley.
This is a hands-on position working directly with the Project Manager and Superintendent. The Project Engineer will be responsible for keeping project documentation, quantities, purchasing, scheduling, billing, and other project controls current and accurate.
The right candidate understands that project engineering is about staying ahead of the work.
You need to be able to see what the field needs next, get the materials ordered, keep the paperwork moving, track what was installed, and make sure the Project Manager has accurate information on the status of the job.
Strong organization, follow-through, and communication are important. So is being willing to get out in the field and deal with issues directly.
Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM-5:00 PM. Additional hours may be required based on project needs.
Regular onsite field presence is required, with travel between project sites and the office as necessary.
There is opportunity for increased responsibility and advancement into broader project management responsibilities as experience and performance warrant.
