Job summary

Jobot, a leading heavy highway and structures contractor in PA/NJ, seeks a Project Engineer to support a large backlog of work. This office-based role includes occasional site travel and requires strong cost control, structural engineering, and value engineering skills.

You will plan, schedule, and monitor complex construction projects, coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members, and ensure safety and quality standards across all phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Open to entry level with relevant internships.
• Proven experience in cost control, structural engineering, and value engineering.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and SAP.
• Desire to acquire a Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
