Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in civil construction to lead heavy highway projects from start to finish. You will manage planning, cost estimations, and coordination of multiple managers and technical personnel to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a strong focus on bottom-line results, with accountability for budgets and schedules across large-scale infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management and estimation for civil construction.
• Proven experience in heavy highway construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction docs.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage and guide teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with clients, vendors, teams.
• Strong problem-solving with results focus.
• Proficiency with project management software tools.

Responsibilities

• Communicating proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Reviewing proposed changes and updates to contractual agreements with the help of legal teams.
• Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring the best possible terms for our company.
